In my opinion, Historical Fiction is unlike any other genre. It is eye-opening to things that may have happened in the past and/or reflects on historical matters and events.

Historical fiction gets me out of reading slumps and breaks up my reading streaks of mainly fantasy and romance. There are so many life lessons you can learn through these historical fictions. Resilient characters based on real people who went through treacherous things that we couldn’t even imagine going through.
